Medal: Royal Academy of Music medal awarded to Yvonne Adair for Pianoforte, 1923. Obverse: Bust of Apollo, head facing right; a lyre beneath the right shoulder. Reverse: Three-line engraved inscription within a tied wreath, around which are the words: ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC INSTITUTED 1822. Legend: YVONNE ADAIR PIANOFORTE 1923. With suspension loop attached to a small claw. Designed by Benjamin Wyon, 1822. In a red leather box with royal blue velvet and white silk lining on which is stamped in black 'John Pinches London'. Bronze.
